Happy New Year! The Holiday Party went well; thank you for attending. If you didn't attend, plan on coming this year. Attendance was 106; we gave away coins, books, flowers, YN gifts, and our yearly "Gold Raffle". The food was good; there were many compliments. Thanks to all who donated time, money, and prizes to make the party a success. The Board and officers were installed; thanks, Denny. (See the printed newsletter for names.)
January is annual membership renewal month. (See the printed newsletter for details.)
This month is Silver Dollar Night. Bill J. will present the program. Any member who would like to present a program, give a lecture, or has suggestions for programs, see Fran R.
Club T-shirts will be available at the January meeting. The cost will be $10/shirt, white or grey, M, L, and XL.

Drawing this month for the NGC BU Morgan dollar. The March raffle prize will be a 1925 Stone Mountain Commemorative half dollar in EF condition. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased. See John K. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.
Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting. The next meeting will be Monday, February 4, at 7:30 PM at Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach campus, Advanced Technology Center, room H-248.
The Spring Coin Show will be Februray 16 & 17. Start working on exhibits
Guy must receive information on Auction lots for the February 13, 2008 meeting by February 1. (See the paper newsletter for instructions on how to submit auction lots.)
