Reminder:  This month's meeting will be held in the smaller room located at the left rear of the VFW.

The program this month will be "TCC Presidents, Past & Present."  In March, Gene F. will lecture on "Numismatic Publications."   Paul A. will present a program on "Chopmarked Coins" in April.

Notice: Membership renewals are due now.   Dues are $12.00 for adults and $3.00 for youths under 18.  Members not required to submit dues are Life Members ($100.00 one-time fee), Honorary Life Members, and members who joined late in the year.   Make check payable to Tidewater Coin Club, Inc.  Dues may be paid at the meeting or mailed to Paul A.  (See the paper newsletter for the address.)

The Young Numismatist Quiz this month is to explain the term "Proof."  Our YN advisor is Jack L.

February's Coin Game:   Bring a North American coin (U.S./Canada/ Mexico) that features a "rodent."   There was no winner for January's game.

Long-Term Raffle:  Drawing this month for a 1908-S Indian Head Cent in F condition.  The April raffle will be for a 1946 uncirculated set of Booker T. Washington commemorative half dollars.  The long-term raffle is for club members and any quantity of chances may be purchased.  See Jack L. at the meeting to record your $1.00 per chance donation.

The club is always interested in items to be used for the long-term raffles, regular raffles, and door prizes.  Everyone likes a bargain, but we pay fair prices for accepted items.  If you have items, contact Guy C.

Club members are invited to attend the monthly Board meeting.  The next meeting will be March 3 at 7:30 PM.  (See paper newsletter for directions.)

Virginia Beach Spring Coin Show:  February 15 & 16 at Pembroke Hall.  Start getting your exhibits ready!

Get well card:  sent to Sam C.  Sam has not been in good health lately.

Get well card:  sent to Bobbie L.  Bobbie broke her leg and is being cared for at the Sentara Nursing Care on South Newtown R., Norfolk.

Sympathy card:  sent to the family of Bill J.  Bill passed on February 1.
