The next meeting will be Wednesday, February 11, 7:30 PM.

Denny M. will present the February program, "Making Coins".  Tom A. will lecture in March on "Early Colonial Coinage".  Paul A. will present the April program on "Chinese Charms".

Annual Membership Dues Required in January.  Adults are $12 and youths under 18 are $3. Members not required to pay are "Life Members" and new members who joined late in the year.  (See printed newsletter for names and check mailing details.)

Coin Club Polo Shirts!!!  Shirts will be available for pick-up at the meeting.  Please bring a check for $28 made out to Tidewater Coin Club, Inc.

Young Numismatist Quiz:  Why did the US Mint issue steel cents in 1943?  Explain in detail.  YN Adviser, Jack L.

Coin Game this month:  bring a US coin (circulating or commemorative) that honors a historcally notable woman (Miss Liberty does not count.) Be prepared to give a short history of the coin.

Drawing this month for the 1947-S quarter dollar, MS-65 (NGC).  April's raffle will be for a 1938-D Buffalo nickel, MS-65.  The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased.  See Jack L. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.

Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting.  The next meeting will be March 01 at 7:30 PM.  (See paper newsletter for directions.)

Coin Show at the VFW, February 07.  This is not a club-sponsored event.

Tidewater Coin Show February 14 & 15 at Pembroke Hall.

Bring a friend to the meeting.
