January was annual membership renewal month. There are many members who have not paid their yearly fee. Please see Paul A. at the meeting or the coin show. (See the printed newsletter for details.)
This month's program will be an overview of Chinese coinage from ancient through the empire years given by Paul A. Any member who would like to present a program, give a lecture, or has suggestions for programs, see Fran R.
Club T-shirts will be available at the January meeting. The cost will be $10/shirt, white or grey, M, L, and XL.

Congratulations to Doug B. for winning the NGC BU Morgan dollar. The March raffle prize will be a 1925 Stone Mountain Commemorative half dollar in EF condition. May's raffle prize will be a 2002 Silver Proof set. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased. See John K. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.
Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting. The next meeting will be Monday, March 3, at 7:30 PM at Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach campus, Advanced Technology Center, room H-248. (See the printed newsletter for details.)
The Spring Coin Show will be Februray 16 & 17. Start working on exhibits. There will be a sign-up sheet at the meeting. Help is always needed at the show.
Guy must receive information on Auction lots for the March 12, 2008 meeting by February 29. (See the paper newsletter for instructions on how to submit auction lots.)
