Tidewater Coin Club Spring Coin Show is February 20 & 21 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Plan to participate, either as a volunteer or with an exhibit, or both. There will be volunteer sign-up sheets at the meeting. PLEASE HELP. This is your show, make it a success.

2010 dues required. All members who received a postcard about their annual dues may pay with a check at the meeting. Members who did not receive a postcard (Life Members, Honorary Life Members, or members who joined late in the year) do not owe a membership fee.

This month's program will be a lecture by Joe R. on "The Twelve Caesars." Any member who would like to present a program, give a lecture, or has suggestions for programs, see Fran R.

Pre-Meeting Coin Swap: Members may conduct a pre-meeting coin swap from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Once the meeting begins, however, this activity MUST cease.

Congratulations to Ken C. for winning the MS-63 1881-O Morgan dollar. The March raffle will be for a Canadian commemorative quarter set in UNC condition. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased.  See John K. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.

Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting. The next meeting will be Monday, March 1, at 7:30 PM at Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach campus, Advanced Technology Center, room H-248. (Click here for directions. Also see the printed newsletter for details.)

Bob must receive information on Auction lots for the March 10, 2010 meeting by February 26. (See the paper newsletter for instructions on how to submit auction lots.) Please give a full description of your lots, including date, grade, and minimum bid.
