Annual Membership Dues Required. This will be the last newsletter for those members late on their dues. Life membership $100, adults $12/year, youth under 18, $3/year. Send checks to PO Box 5247, Virginia Beach, VA 23471-5247. Make checks payable to Tidewater Coin Club, Inc. Paul A. will be at the meeting to collect dues. Save a stamp -- come to the meeting. Members not required to pay are life members, honorary life members, and members who joined late in the year (see paper newsletter for a list of names.)
This month's program will be part 1 of a DVD movie on the sinking and salvage of the S.S. Central America. Any member who would like to present a program, give a lecture, or has suggestions for programs, see Fran R.
50th anniversary medals are available. Our club's 50th anniversary medals are available for purchase. See Fran or Bob at a meeting for details.
Club T-shirts will be available at the meeting. The cost will be $10/shirt, white or grey, M, L, XL, or XXL.
TCC's Spring Coin Show, was a success. Over 550 attended the show. The October show will be at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The winner of the 1/4 oz. Gold Eagle was George S. with white ticket #2603. The winner of the 1/10 oz. Gold Eagle was August R.

Coin Game: Bring a coin designed by Alfred Maletsky (US Mint only.) Members must be prepared to give a short talk on their coin, furnishing information such as: designer, dates minted, or other interesting facts that would help educate the membership on this month's subject coin. Last month's winner was Norm F.

Congratulations to Everett P. for winning the British 200th Anniversary of Nelson at Trafalgar 2-coin set. March's raffle will be for a Roman silver coin. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased. See John K. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.
