The next meeting will be Wednesday, June 11, 7:30 PM. Charles G. will present the program in June. July will be a quiz prepared by Fran R. called "What do I know." Bob H. will give a talk in August on WEB based resources for coins. September's program will be on the grading and pricing of coins. October's program will be a lecture and discussion on "Dealing with Dealers." November's program will be a lecture on Spanish coins presented by Bob K. December will be the Annual Holiday Party. Sheryl W. will present a display on "Franklin Mint Bronzes." Jim B. will have supplies available at the meeting from 7:00 - 8:00 PM. If you are interested in getting rolls of "D" mint state quarters, see Jim about this also. Young Numismatist Quiz: Explain the difference between the 1960 small date and large date Lincoln cent. Our YN advisor is Jack L. June Coin Game: Bring a U.S. coin that features an eagle in flight. It must be a coin that is/was in circulation (no commemoratives.) May's winner was Norman F. New members in May: Don I. Drawing this month for the 1988 $5 gold Canada Maple Leaf. The August raffle will be a 1944-S Walking Liberty half dollar in CH BU condition. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased. See Jack L. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation. The club is always interested in items to be used for the long-term raffles, regular raffles, and door prizes. Everyone likes a bargain, but we pay fair prices for accepted items. If you have items, contact Guy C. Club members are invited to attend the monthly board meeting. The next meeting will be June 30 at 7:30 PM. (See paper newsletter for directions.)
