This month's program will be a member Show & Tell of unusual things and an auction of 75 lots. September's program will be on "Serendipity Finds", presented by Denny M. Any member who would like to present a program, give a lecture, or has suggestions for programs, see Fran R.

50th anniversary medals are available for purchase. See Fran or Bob at a meeting for details. Silver medal #7 was won last month by August R.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES HAVE BEEN INCREASED AS OF JULY 1. Adults/$15, youth under 18/$5, family membership/$20, life membership (adult)/$150.

Club T-shirts will be available at the meeting. The cost will be $10/shirt, white or grey, M, L, XL, or XXL.

New members in July: Jay A., Kenneth G., Robert H., and Stanley S.

Coin Game: Bring a US silver coin with a CC (Carson City) mint mark. Members must be prepared to give a short talk on their coin, furnishing information such as: designer, mints, dates minted, quantities minted, or other interesting facts that would help educate the membership on this month's subject coin. Last month's winner was Chuck F.

Congratulations to Bill J. for winning the Mexican gold 2 1/2 Peso coin. September's raffle will feature a 1996 US Mint Silver Proof set. November's raffle will be for a 1923 Peace Dollar, IGC MS-62. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased.  See John K. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.

Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting.   The next meeting will be Tuesday, September 05, at 7:30 PM.  (See paper newsletter for details and directions.)

Sheryl must receive information on Auction lots for the September 13, 2006 meeting by Friday, September 01.
