This month's program will be the same as the Coin Game. Everyone bring their favorite coin and tell the members what makes it special. Each person that participates will receive a raffle chance at a Silver Eagle or better that will be given away at the end of the program. Any member who would like to present a program, give a lecture, or has suggestions for programs during the year, see Fran R.

PLEASE RETURN YOUR RAFFLE TICKET STUBS AT THE MEETING.  IF ADDITIONAL BOOKLETS ARE REQUIRED, SEE PAUL OR SHERYL. RAFFLE TICKETS ARE THE WAY OUR CLUB OFFSETS THE COST OF OUR ANNUAL FALL COIN SHOW.  MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO HELP WITH THIS ONCE A YEAR FUND RAISING ENDEAVOR.  THE COST OF THE RAFFLE TICKETS IS $10/BOOK OF 11 TICKETS.   THE TICKETS ARE $1 EACH.  THE ELEVENTH TICKET IS YOURS FREE FOR THE $10 DONATION TO THE CLUB.  MANY MEMBERS CHOOSE TO PUT THEIR NAMES ON ALL THE TICKETS SO AS NOT TO ASK FOR DONATIONS FROM FRIENDS.  MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: TIDEWATER COIN CLUB, INC.  IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE OCT. 8 & 9 SHOW, MAIL DONATIONS TO TIDEWATER COIN CLUB, PO BOX 5247, VIRGINIA BEACH, VA 23471-5247.

Congratulations to Steve E. for winning the 1991-S Mount Rushmore Golden Anniversary Commemorative set; one dollar and half dollar; proof condition. October's raffle will be for an uncirculated 1992 Columbus Quincentenary set, dollar and half dollar. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased.  See John K. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.

Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting.   The next meeting will be Monday, October 3, at 7:30 PM.  (See paper newsletter for details and directions.)
