The next meeting will be Wednesday, November 10, 7:30 PM.

November's program will be a lecture on "Estate Planning".  December will be our Annual Holiday Party.  January is our annual Silver Dollar Night.

Election of Board members will be this month and installation of Board members and Officers will be at the Holiday Party in December. Those Board members who are stepping down this year have served our club well. Thank you for your service.

Annual Holiday Party to be held on December 8, 7:30 at the VFW. Sign up sheets will be available at the meeting. This year will be turkey, ham, and fixings. The cost is FREE to members and $8.00 per guest. The meal is free, however if you do not sign up or call Paul for reservations prior to December 3, there will not be a dinner for you.

Fran will be ordering Polo shirts with Tidewater Coin Club embroidery. Please see Fran at the meeting this month.

Young Numismatist Quiz:  Name all US mints, past and present. YN Adviser, Jack L.

Coin Game this month:  Bring a US Dime (1800 - 1954). Be prepared to give a short history of the coin. Last month's winner was Norm F.

Congratulations to Malcolm G. for winning the 1975 Barbados One Hundred dollar gold coin in proof condition. December's raffle prize will be a 1970-S small date Lincoln Cent in MS-65 condition. February's raffle will be a British Proof Set. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased.  See Jack L. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.

Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting.   The next meeting will be Monday, November 29, at 7:30 PM.  (See paper newsletter for details and directions.)

Gold winners at the Virginia Beach Coin Show were: Diane L. (1 oz. Eagle, #565), Gus D. (1/4 oz. Eagle, #2010), Bill J. (1/10 oz. Eagle, #626), Stan L. (1/10 oz. Eagle, postcard return). Congratulations.

Sheryl must receive information on Auction lots for the January 12, 2005 meeting by Friday, December 31.
