ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY ON DECEMBER 13th, 7:30 AT THE VFW. A sign-up sheet for the party will be passed around at the meeting. The cost per person will be $5.00 (payable at the door.) Members are obliged to pay if they do not cancel by December 9, 2006. Paul A. will be taking reservations. The menu will be the same as last year; ham, turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, gravy, cranberry sauce, apple cobbler, water, coffee, and soda.

This month's program will be presented by Denny M.; "Serendipity, part 2". December is our annual Holiday Party. We start the New Year with the annual "Silver Dollar Night". Any member who would like to present a program, give a lecture, or has suggestions for programs, see Fran R.

Winners of the Gold and Silver Eagle raffles at the October coin show are listed in the printed newsletter.

Special thanks to Ray K. for the ballpoint pens with Tidewater Coin Club printed on them. They will be handed out to members at the Holiday Party.

50th anniversary medals are available for purchase. See Fran or Bob at a meeting for details. Silver medal #4 was won last month by August R.

Club T-shirts will be available at the meeting. The cost will be $10/shirt, white or grey, M, L, XL, or XXL.

New members in October: George C. and family, Kelly F. and family, Fred H. and family, Wilson H., Ted S. and family, Stan S., Leonard T., and Harold Y.

Coin Game: Bring a US Indian Head cent. Last month's winner was Samuel Y. (YN)

Nominees for the Board are listed in the paper newsletter. The election will be held this month and installation of Board members and Officers will be at the Holiday Party in December.

Drawing this month for the 1923 Peace Dollar, IGC MS-62. January's raffle prize will be a Morgan Silver Dollar. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased.  See John K. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.

Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting.   The next meeting will be Monday, December 4, at 7:30 PM.  (See paper newsletter for details and directions.)

Get Well card sent to Hunter H. Hunter had a bad fall.
