This month's program will be a lecture on "Gold and Business, San Francisco, 1850" by Paul A. December 8 will be our holiday party, with dinner beginning at 7:00 PM. January will be our annual Silver Dollar Night with a lecture by Chuck F. Any member who would like to present a program, give a lecture, or has suggestions for programs, see Fran R.
Pre-Meeting Coin Swap: Members may conduct a pre-meeting coin swap/sale from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Once the meeting begins, however, this activity MUST cease.
Drawing this month for the 1994-S Silver Proof set. January's raffle prize will be a brilliant UNC Morgan dollar. The long-term raffle is for club members and any number of chances may be purchased. See John K. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.
Elections for the 2011 Board of Directors will be this month. Those elected will be installed at the holiday party in December.
Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting. The next meeting will be Monday, November 29, at 7:30 PM at Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach campus, Advanced Technology Center, room H-248. (Click here for directions. Also see the printed newsletter for details.)
Bob must receive information on Auction lots for the January 12, 2011 meeting by December 30. (See the paper newsletter for instructions on how to submit auction lots.) Please give a full description of your lots, including date, grade, and minimum bid.
