This month's program will be a lecture on "Trade Dollars" presented by John K. December will be our annual Holiday Party. January will start the new year with our annual Silver Dollar Night and a program by Chuck F. Any member who would like to present a program, give a lecture, or has suggestions for programs, see Fran R.
HOLIDAY PARTY: December 14th at 7:00 PM. Dress is casual. Traditional
holiday dinner. $7.00 per adult and youths under 18. Children under 6 are
free. You may pay at the door. Reservations must be received by Saturday,
3 December. You may return your reservation form at the November 9 meeting
or email webmaster@tidewatercoinclub.org. (See the paper newsletter for phone
and mail options.) We need to know the total number attending in your party
(include yourself.) Please specify how many adults, how many youths (under
18), and how many children under 6.
Elections for Board Members will be held this month. Installation of Board Members will be in December. There are seats open on the Board. Please consider serving your club in this manner.
Drawing this month for a 1904 Barber dime in AU condition. January will feature a Morgan silver dollar in UNC condition. The long-term raffle is for club members only and any number of chances may be purchased. See John K. at the meeting to record your $1.00/chance donation.
Club members are welcome to attend the monthly Board meeting. The next meeting will be Monday, December 5, at 7:30 PM at Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach campus, Advanced Technology Center, room H-248. (Click here for directions. Also see the printed newsletter for details.)
Auction lots for the January 11,
2012 meeting must be received by Friday, December 23. (See the paper newsletter
for instructions on how to submit auction lots.) Please give a full description
of your lots, including date, grade, and minimum bid.
